BAKER BIG BUCK LODGE INFORMATION
Thank you for choosing our cabin for your vacation. Here is some information that may come in
handy.
CHECK IN:

4:00 p.m.

CHECK OUT: 11:00 a.m.
WIFI PASSWORD: westlinglodge.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Take I-5 to exit 255 in Bellingham (WA-542, Mt. Baker Hwy) Go east on
HWY 542 for 34.5 miles. Snowline is on the left. (Start watching after you pass the small
town of Glacier) The address is 7120 Rainier Way, Glacier, WA 98244. Although sometimes it
shows as Deming, Washington.
KEY PICK UP: In order to enter the gated community of Snowline, you will need a cardkey. The
cabin keys and cardkey can be picked up at Chair 9 Restaurant, which is across the street from
the entrance to Snowline. As you face the restaurant our lock box is on your right hand side at
the very corner of the building with the name Big Buck Lodge. The combination is 1–0–2-8, Key
Box No. 1. Please be sure to replace the lock and make sure it is locked after you take the key.
Just leave the key in the cabin when you leave.
Once you come through the gate, take a right onto Rainier Way. Go approximately 1/2 mile.
We are the corner lot of Rainier Way and St Helens.
VEHICLES: Four vehicle limit. No RV’s, campers, camper vans, et cetera. There are two
driveways at the front of the cabin off of Rainier. You can park in both driveways. They will
each easily hold two vehicles. Do not park on the road. If any part of your vehicle is on the
road, the Snowline Community Manager will fine you $100.
SNOWLINE RULES:
One car at a time through the gate. Two at a time will break the arm. The fine for that is $300
if the manager has to track you down, or $110 if you go to the manager’s office and report it.
Since every car is videoed coming in, if you break the gate, they will find you.
We know you are here to have a good time, but please remember that quite time is 11:00.
Conversations and music from inside the cabin are not too bad, but loud conversations at the
hot tub or on the deck will annoy the neighbors. Please keep voices down after 11:00.
CABIN INFORMATION:

There are 6 thermostats in the cabin. The one behind the TV controls the forced air heat in the
downstairs. The thermostat at the bottom of the stairs controls the gas fireplace. There are
thermostats in the bathrooms downstairs and upstairs. The thermostat in the master bedroom
controls the heat in the front bedroom also.
The cabin is served by a septic tank; therefore do not put anything down the toilet unless you
drank or ate it first. Toilet paper is the only exception. No feminine hygiene products. And
only put water down the sinks. Oil, grease and other cooking byproducts will cause the septic
to fail.
SAUNA
The sauna controls are near the floor under the sauna element. It is on a timer. The sauna
takes about 15 to 20 minutes to heat up. Do not stay in the sauna more than 15 minutes.
Pregnant women and children are not allowed in the sauna or hot tub.
HOT TUB
Please either wear your swim suit or your birthday suit . Do not wear street clothes in the hot
tub. Shower before entering the hot tub. Detergents and perspiration disturb the PH balance
of the water. There is a $60 fee for draining and refilling the hot tub if that is necessary after
your visit. No more than 4 in the tub at any one time.
When you remove the hot tub cover, fold it to your left – towards the driveway. It will fit
between the hot tub and the fence on that side only. Do not sit on the hot tub cover. KEEP THE
COVER ON WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING IT. This will keep it warm and free of tree leaves and
needles. When you are not using the hot tub please turn the heat down to 80 and turn off the
lights, jets, and waterfall.
