In 2013, event pros from the city of Pittsburgh came together in an unprecedented way to showcase our talents
and raise money for a great cause! In fact, we won international awards within the Special Events Industry for our
efforts. With over 100 event professionals donating close to $200,000 worth of product and talent, we created an
incredible evening with stunning decor, food and entertainment for 500 guests. It was so much fun that we are
back at it again!
With five teams of professionals led by Pittsburgh’s finest, this year’s theme celebrates color. The designers will
draw from selected color inspiration, creating vignettes designed to entice the senses with sights, sounds, smells
and tastes. The ISES Exhibition of Elements will showcase Interpretations of warm and cool color tones in a
tabletop gallery. The event is located in a raw space, which will be transformed in a way you never thought
possible.
This unforgettable event is anchored by presenting sponsors Mosaic, Inc., All Occasions Party Rental, Marbella,
CSR Colortone Staging and Rentals, Walnut Capital, and Bakery Square. Color vignette team leaders will be: Tim
Komen of TK Events, Sheila Weiner of The Event Group, Shayla Hawkins of SHE Events, Martin Potoczny of Luxe
Creative, and Joe Mineo of Joe Mineo Creative. With food from Pittsburgh’s finest caterers, hotels and
restaurants, spectacular entertainment all night long, lighting artistry and an atmosphere filled with creativity and
whimsy, guests at this event will be treated to a night of sensation!
To purchase tickets ($75) visit the ShowClix ticketing page here. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to
experience firsthand the talent that transforms our city at celebrations and events throughout the year.
Event Pros Take Action (EPTA) is a not for profit organization comprised of event pros throughout the country to
help rebuild communities who have suffered from environmental catastrophe. Founded by Pittsburgh's own
Susie Perelman, owner of Mosaic, inc., EPTA has traveled to New Orleans five times, Rockaway Peninsula twice,
and San Marcos, Texas to help out. This fundraiser will help this team continue doing good work throughout
America.
ISES Pittsburgh is chapter of the International Special Events Society, a not for profit organization for event
professionals. The Pittsburgh chapter continues to make an impact in our community, unifying event pros in
Pittsburgh.
