FATEZZI BEAM INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Surfaces of items to be adhered must be wiped clean of dust, and any oils or particles.
Lay out on ceiling where you want the beams to be installed (blue painters tape is helpful for this step).
Beams are provided with a pre-cut groove for ease of installation
Cut blocks of wood (not supplied) to fit the inside dimension of the beam.

Proper Adhesive must be applied thoroughly through length of beam to insure proper
installation .
 Measure and cut beams to fit between the walls.
 Slide the beam in place over the blocks of wood. Push it tight to the ceiling.
 Apply PL Premium Construction Adhesive or EnerFoam, (follow directions on the tube) on the top
edges of the beam where it will be touching the ceiling.
 Use brad nails or finishing nails to attach the beam to the blocks of wood on both sides of the
beam and on all of the blocks of wood.
 The nails / brads hold the beams in place while the glue dries.
 Clean off any excess adhesive that may have squeezed out between the ceiling and the beam
with denatured alcohol or other similar solvent
 Install the rest of the beams the same way.
 Caulk the ends of the beams where they meet the walls (if necessary).
 Fill in the screw holes with colored wood filler.
 Job is complete!
