RULES & REGULATION MATTA FAIR PAHANG 2016

1. EXHIBITOR’S APPLICATION
All applications to participate as exhibitors of the MATTA FAIR ® PAHANG 2016
shall be made through the official Booking Forms accompanied with Full Payment.
The submission of the entry form shall be deemed as the applicant‟s confirmation to
participate as exhibitor in the MATTA FAIR ® PAHANG 2016 and the applicant‟s
acceptance and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of the MATTA
FAIR® PAHANG 2016. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept or reject
any applications without disclosing the reason thereof.
MATTA PAHANG CHAPTER, will begin accepting Booking Forms/Registration for MATTA
FAIR ® PAHANG 2016 on 21st March 2016.
2. PARTICIPATION RATES & REGISTRATION DETAILS
A. Premium Lot ( Island)
(Minimum area size: 256sq.feets or four (4) booths space)
Limit to 3 Lots, 4 booths space each lot on a ’First Come First Serve” basis with full
payment and documentation. Priority will be given to Tourism Agencies and
Government Sector. The premium lots will be located at “prime area” of
exhibition hall. Exhibitor who opts to purchase this lot can select their booths
immediately upon submission of a completed Booking Form together with full
payment to MATTA PAHANG CHAPTER.
The exhibitor shall be responsible for their own design, construction and
furnishings. ALL electrical fittings and installation must be undertaken by the
Official Contractor appointed by the Organizing Committee. All exhibitors must
design their booths and submit the drawing(s) to the Organizing Committee for
approval before 22nd April 2016. Failure to do so without the prior written
approval of the Event Manager is considered a breach of the Fair‟s Rules &
Regulations
B. Space Only
(Minimum size: 32sq. feets or half (1/2) booths space)
Includes the following:
 1 unit 13-amps electrical point
 1 information desk
 2 chairs
Limit to 20 Lots, 1/2 booths space each lot on a ’First Come First Serve” basis with
full payment and documentation. Priority will be given to MATTA PAHANG
CHAPTER Members. The Space Only lots will be located at “walkway area” of
exhibition hall. Exhibitor who opts to purchase this lot can select their booths
immediately upon submission of a completed Booking Form together with full
payment to MATTA PAHANG CHAPTER.

C. Shell Scheme
(Booth size: 64sq. feets or 8ft x 8ft)
Includes the following:
 Fascia board with exhibitor‟s name and booth number
 2 unit‟s fluorescent lights
 1 unit 13-amps electrical point
 1 information desk
 4 chairs
 1 waste paper basket
 Needle punch carpet flooring of booth area
Limit to 33 booths on a ’First Come First Serve” basis with full payment and
documentation. The booths will be located at main area of exhibition hall.
Exhibitor who opts to purchase this lot can select their booths immediately upon
submission of a completed Booking Form together with full payment to MATTA
PAHANG CHAPTER.

D. Terms of Payment
1) All booking must be accompanied by a Non-refundable Registration Fee of
50% of Booth/Space registration cost, regardless of the number of booth/space
booked.
2) The Organizing Committee reserves the right to enter into any special
arrangements with any exhibitor to ensure the success of the fair.

Payment can be made via cheque or direct transfer payment in the following
account;The bank account details are listed below. Kindly fax a copy of the payment
transaction slip to the Secretariat of MATTA PAHANG CHAPTER immediately.

3. CANCELLATION CHARGES
In the event of any cancellation and/or default in payment by an exhibitor, the
Organizing Committee reserves the right, on a strictly without prejudices basis, to
cancel the application without any refund of payment made. The Organizing
Committee will also have the right to re-let the booths contracted to an exhibition in
default. Where the Organizing Committee has elected to re-let the said booth/space
but is unable to do so or otherwise is only able to re-let the same at a lower rate, the
exhibitor in default shall without derogation of the Organizing Committee other rights
in law or in equity, be liable to pay amongst others, the loss suffered by the MATTA
FAIR ® PAHANG 2016 as a result thereof as damages.
Cancellation Received
By 5.00 pm on 30 th April 2016

Cancellation charges
50% of total cost of booth/space

4. BOOTH ASSIGNMENT SYSTEM

Exhibitors can select their booths/space immediately upon submission of a
completed Booking Form together with full payment to MATTA PAHANG
CHAPTER.
The organizing committee reserves the right to allocate booths prior to
opening for booth by exhibitors.
The organizing committee will designate the areas to be selected as well as
reserves the right to relocate the booths after booth assignment to better
manage the fair.
When in the organizing committee‟s opinion and in the best interest of the fair
and/or its participants, the organizing committee reserves the right at any
time, to re-designate certain booths halls for certain exhibitors or not to make
such booth/space available.
For exhibitors who have taken extra booths that cannot be utilized, the
exhibitors may sell these extra booths only if there are buyer‟s available
u\subject to final approval from the Event Manager.
In the Event on exhibitor wishes to book more than one booth, all such booths
booked and/or rented shall be adjacent to each other and shall not be
placed or located at different areas in the event an exhibition.
Final booth assignment remains the prerogative of the organizing committee.
