X4Change Project Recife
X4CHANGE is a project that gives children a chance to learn foreign languages (English
and Spanish) and have contact with people (YOU!) with different cultures and
perspectives.
In Brazil, very few people have the opportunity to learn and speak global languages like
english and spanish. Throught this project, we want to develop the will to learn on kids
who don’t have financial conditions, and make they have a broader view of the city and
the world.
While doing this project, you will be able to develop your abilities like language teaching
and community development.
This Project is conected to The Global Goals for sustainable development for humankind
that will be choose on September 25th in UN. It's conected to the goal number 4 Quality
Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong
learning opportunities for all.
To have a successful project, you can follow these 3 steps:
Step 1
Easy Communication: Basic process of understanding the expressions through
learning speech. At this stage it is time to make the kids internalize the usual
vocabulary and expressions.
Step 2
Learning by doing: Implement learning in global issues. Make them learn the language
while developing dynamic and contextualized work. This is the longest stage of the
project, because through the playful activities they will have real learning.
Step 3
InterAction: This is the stage that you become a mediator of knowledge, bringing more
dialogues, tools, breaking their barriers on learning so that they understand the
importance of interacting for learning the language.
.
