MARIE’S SHORTBREAD COOKIES
2 cups unsalted butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla, add flour and mix well.
Roll out and flatten your dough then refrigerate for at least an hour.
Take the dough out and cut them in shapes while still cold.
Put it back in the fridge for another hour or longer.
Bake in parchment paper for 10-12 minutes until it gets some color (slightly golden
color). Don’t go to brown!
