Munching with Monet was founded in May 2015 as a way to share my dining experiences
with others. As someone that eats out every week, I became a go-to person for restaurant
recommendations in the local area. Since then, my blog has increased in content to include
not only restaurant reviews in Derbyshire but all over the country, plus hotels, food products
and reporting up on numerous events such as new launches.

My name is Monet Brooks & I’m a 22 year old full time receptionist from Ripley in Derbyshire.
My interest in food began when working as a part-time waitress in a gastro pub during my
A-Level studies. I would see so many different dishes being produced on a daily basis and
loved to learn what the different components were and fascinated by the presentation.
