"In 1985, four brothers had a vision to enrich people's lives through design and technology. Incapsulating their
strong family values, inspired by the cultural creativity in the 1980s, the Shah family founded 1st STOP.
Always challenging industry convention, and wishing to provide a service orientated around the customer's
lifestyle, 1st STOP embarked upon the design of custom installations, developing homes and other residential
dwellings both in the UK and overseas.
Combining their understanding of luxury brands, high performance products, interior designer architecture, 1st
STOP became an innovation hub for refreshing ideas to revolutionise the place of technology in the living
environment, whilst competitors were devoted to selling award winning equipment, 1st STOP's focus was to
achieve the customer's dream, allowing them to stand in the future, and then making it a reality.

Top Dutch interior designer Eric Kuster’s own label lives under the marque of Metropolitan Luxury. There could not
be two words better suited to sit side-by-side and describe his inimitable style, which relies on the perfect balance
of classic and contemporary, European and international.
Kuster’s interior designs emphasize the architectural geometry and focus on perspective. Every element has been
considered with this in mind, using a mix of straight clean lines and strategically placed curved structures and
accessories.

In addition to exclusive residential projects from Curacao to London, his projects also include yacht interior design
and hotels, as well as commercial interior design projects, ranging from legendary Amsterdam club Jimmy Woo’s
to Barcelona’s Camp Nou Stadium. Kuster consistently exceeds the expectations of his clients, who are as picky as
they are prominent. He succeeds by ensuring that individual elements are as impeccable as the whole. From every
textile to each piece of furniture, and each artwork to every colour combination, cra smanship is key. The Dutch
native says of his work: “There is a signature, but every project is bespoke like creating a haute couture dress or
tailored suit. It has to be the perfect fit. I do not do copy and paste.”

Acoustic tailoring. To offer the unique style and customisation possibilities of Series 5, the designers came up with
a new way to finish the speakers that would not only allow you to create your own look, but also protect the drive
units, while preserving the integrity of the performance.
Created a collection of Linn Fabrik coverings using specially designed, light and open weave patterns that allow
the music through, while offering a wide choice of contemporary and classic colours and designs.
But the material itself is only half story. No other speaker can offer such a variety of covering options without
detrimentally affecting the sound. Series 5 speakers use Exakt technology to model the effects of each Fabrik’s
characteristics on the frequency and phase response of every drive unit. Exakt’s digital crossover eliminates any
unwanted distorting effects to ensure that no matter which Fabrik you chose, your speakers will produce the same
breathtaking performance designed in the factory.

Create your own look. Select your Fabrik cover, top plate and stand to personalise your speakers. with so many
colours and textiles to choose from, and designer collections like “Timorous Beasties”, there’s a look to
complement any interior.
Fancy a change? All Linn Fabrik covers, tops and stands are available separately so you can refresh the look as
o en as you like.
