Multimedia Journalist & Presenter – JOE, 2016
Currently employed as a staff writer and video producer for JOE.co.uk, Britain’s leading
men’s interest publisher with over 3million followers on Facebook. My role has been
focused on producing and coordinating daily content for the UK and Ireland versions of
the site, presenting short videos, writing articles and managing social media accounts.
Editor – Konbini, 2015
Previously spent the past two years writing articles for the readers of Konbini.com on the
topics of entertainment, lifestyle and current affairs. This included writing and
researching news, reviews, interviews and features and the management of several other
journalists. It was also my responsibility to grow the brand’s social media presence,
managing accounts with some 1,000,000+ followers.
News Editor – Konbini, 2013 - 2014
Prior to working as Editor at Konbini, employed as News Editor at Konbini with a role
focused on curating and editing the daily news output of the UK site. This position
involved reacting to trending topics and pushing breaking news content on social
media. Everyday work included assigning stories to other journalists, researching and
writing my own articles, fact checking, copyediting and proofreading.
Video Production Intern / Freelancer – VICE, 2012
I was selected as VICE’s UK intern in their production department for a period of three
months. Initially I was responsible for research and pitching ideas for new content, then
later I was employed as a freelance filmmaker and assistant on a number of
documentary shoots. Duties included contacting potential interviewees, budgeting

productions, working on set for in-house l projects and collaborating with producers on
new pitches for upcoming films.
Work Experience

The Sun, 2009
I was selected while at school to undertake a fortnight of work experience at The Sun
captioning and writing for the ‘Bizarre’ celebrity news desk. The placement was a
fantastic insight into mainstream journalism and lead to additional period of writing and
research for The London Paper (News UK) the following summer.
