St. Louis -- ​The National Organization for Women is always on the side of making history and we are
proud to endorse St. Louis Treasurer Tishaura Jones in the Mayoral Election. The Missouri NOW PAC
understands more than ever that local elections are what affects us day in and day out.
Tishaura was a champion for women’s rights and economic rights as a state legislator in Jefferson City
and has continued to serve the people as St. Louis Treasurer. Tishaura took heed to the Forward
through Ferguson report and is the only candidate to hear the needs to change and take action,
implementing forward and progressive thinking changes to the Office of Treasurer making it more
accessible and engaging with the community than ever before.
Tishaura understands the importance of pay equity, access to health-care and smart family leave
policies. These are not only women’s issues but they are economic and family issues for thousands of
St. Louisans.
