06492 rocks!
Intro
Welcome to the campaign for Wallingford’s future. Wallingford is an attractive place to live, because it’s
been well maintained by vigilant neighbors like you. However, with a town government that works with
us and for us, I think we can do better. My vision is for a safe and healthy town that is well‐served by
public transportation, easily accessible by car, bike, and foot, integrates with retail and outdoor
destinations we desire, works with police and fire department to protect and serve, and engages
neighbors to care for neighbors. My vision is of a town office with an open‐door policy that listens and
responds to the citizens. My vision is investment in Wallingford’s future.

Why 06492 rocks!
Because this isn’t a campaign for one person, you won’t see a lot of yard signs around town. The ones
that people choose to purchase for themselves will underscore that this is a campaign for Wallingford.
After all, it’s your campaign, and is fighting for the values you’ve told me we’ve lost. So we wanted a
way for you to show your support for the campaign, your pride in Wallingford, *and* your best ideas for
Wallingford!
Get Started
1. Collect some rocks! Head into your backyard and find a few large, smooth, flat stones.
2. Color the rocks with any non‐toxic paint or spray paint. Wait for it to completely dry.
3. Using a Sharpie, paint pen, or paint brush, write “06492 rocks!” over the paint. It works best if the
words are an opposing tone to the base paint on the rocks (ex. write with white or yellow letters
over blue or green paint… or vice versa). Wait for it to completely dry.
4. Place the rocks on your porch to highlight your Wallingford pride! Note that if you want to protect
your rocks from the elements, you may need to coat them with a non‐toxic sealant such as Modge
Podge or a clear acrylic spray.
Bonus
Take a picture of or with your rocks, Tweet to #06492rocks, or post to Facebook with a message about
the change you’d like to see in Wallingford. And please remember to vote on Nov. 7!
