According to both Newcastle University and
Northumbria University there are now over 60,000
student enrollments in both universities.

In late September, a new wave of students will descend
into the city and others will return to start years 2 and 3.
For the city’s bars, restaurants, retailers, letting agents and
entertainment providers this provides a lucrative market.
With this mind, the cities main digital and print publisher
the Newcastle Chronicle will be distributing a student
