The year was 2014
In the middle of the GamerGate revolt, a series of now
infamous articles were published by the Gaming
specialized media, the “Gamers are dead” articles.
Among all that were published I want to bring to your
attention one, published by Gamasutra and written by
Leigh Alexander.
“Gamers” don’t have to be your audience. “Gamers” are
over. Was the title and in this article the author shows just
how much contempt and even hate she has for the
subculture which she pretended to be a part of and the
people that truly are part of it.
She exudes bile and bitterness against the site’s audience
and their costumers, showing she knows nothing about
market demographics PR or marketing. She tells anyone
that cares to read it how they can still earn big bucks and
be virtuous by not “pandering to the filthy gamers.
And now Gamasutra has a very low traffic, no gamer goes
there unless it is in search for roasting material.
Just like with all the other sites that joined in the
demonization of their audience the site is spiraling
towards its death, which can’t come sooner, They deserve
to go bankrupt, it couldn’t have happened to more
deserving folks.
It’s been 3 years, and the 3 LW still keep on harping about
the narrative, still keep on milking their victim status,
while they too spiral downwards to a slow and painful
death by obscurity. Nothing more painful to a narcissist.
GamerGate asked for very little, some ethic codes in their
media, and they got it, this still didn’t end the infestation
of the media or the companies that cater to that market,
well now it’s time for GamerGate2.0, it’s time for
ComicsGate, MGTGate, SciFiGate, etc. Its time for
#GeekGate!

Are they so Narcissistic they have convinced themselves we
secretly love them? Not that I hate them since it would be
wasted time and energy, but I couldn’t give any less of a rats
