PERSONAL SUMMARY
I am a Senior Analyst in the Deloitte Assurance & Advisory listed division, with experience in Transactions through a
Corporate Finance secondment where I was responsible for performing financial due diligence on a $300m IPO. I have
a genuine passion for equity valuation and approach each of my engagements looking to understand what drives value,
how current or potential future events could affect earnings and ultimately, whether I would invest in the company.
This approach has allowed me to develop the following skills to be an asset in the Equity Research team:

The ability to think creatively and identify unusual trends or value drivers that others do not. I have actively
used these skills combined with my experience in financial statement analysis to manage my own personal
portfolio where I achieved greater returns than the market.

Through my Corporate Finance and Assurance experience, I have used and become familiar with various
business valuation techniques which include discounted cash flow modelling, earnings multiple comparisons
and precedent transactions analysis.

I can write detailed reports and understand the importance of having meticulous attention to detail which I
developed through my experience in preparing Due Diligence and Board Audit Committee reports.

I respond well to pressure and have led numerous engagement teams through compressed deadlines as well
as overcoming challenging clients. I have continued to build strong relationships with both the client and my
team and get together regularly to discuss industry trends.

I keep myself updated with the latest developments in the market, especially the impact of Fintech and Digital
Disruption. I am constantly thinking of different ways we can use technology to produce innovative insights to
our clients.

I am a highly rated Senior Analyst with self-motivation to develop my core technical skills. Post completion of
the CA, I undertook the CFA and successfully completed the level one exam.

In addition, I have previously invested in JB Hi-Fi where I performed in depth analysis of the retail industry in Australia.
I was able to learn the drivers of value as well as understanding the risks involved with the incoming entrance of Amazon.
For these reasons, I will be a good fit for the Macquarie Equity Research team.
Please see below my CV for your perusal. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to speaking with
you further.
