sustainable fair-trade employment, and a platform designed to preserve and support their
traditional craft while fostering economies in developing countries. The most valuable
products are those able to tell a story and spark the revival of indigenous handcrafts that have
been passed down generations.

in our life instead of taking up. All our items are limited runs that stand at odds with mass
consumption. Our designs are adaptable to be worn in many ways, satisfying our demand for
practical products that are built to last, worth our money and create less waste for our planet.

The Designer
Born in Venezuela, raised in Aruba and educated in
Europe and the United States, Berjheny has an
unconventional aesthetic, product of her cultural
background. Growing up with the ocean as her
backyard, she spent her childhood years in salty
waters, surrounded by creative, strong women that
were her true inspiration of style.
After studying at the Central Saint Martin’s College of
Art in London and Domus Academy in Milan, she
moved to New York City to study at the Parsons School
of Design. From there, her entrepreneurial spirit
combined with her passion for art and design floored
her to create Del Mar by Berjheny.
