Four producers from four different corners of the world. Their
combined discographies have appeared across over a dozen respected
record labels/collectives. 'drmn', a four way split album, shows each
artist in fine form as they each provide 12-15 minute portions of
instrumental music.
DSPLAY (USA) starts things off with his chilled, downtempo beats.
Rak. (GRC) follows with his dark, brooding lo-fi hip hop work. Marjen
(CAN) delivers moody trip hop, rigid robotic rhythms and ambient
interludes. Finally, Noblonski (DEU) closes the project with bittersweet
melodies, sharp percussion and elements of atmospheric electronica.
This album is available in Limited Edition CD (less than 50 copies
available to the public), Cassette (less than 30 copies available) and
Digital formats. Four different options for cover artwork have been
provided by Osyres, Evolve and C. Kalina.
