Essential Logo Branding Brief
What is the name of your brand? What does it mean?
Do you have a tagline? If so, do you want it to be included in the logo?
What does your company do? What problem are you trying to solve?
What differentiates your brand from your competition?
What are the benefits of your product/service?
What attributes of your business/organization would you like your logo to reflect?
How and where will your new logo be used? Mostly online, or on swag, business cards, etc.? Do you anticipate it needing to
be quite large: for example, on a billboard, side of a truck, etc?
Does your company already have a logo? Would you like any part of the previous logo to be included in the new iteration?
Provide up to three adjectives to describe your ideal logo. (Some examples: Organic, Reliable, Feminine, Mature, Luxury,
Economical, Modern, Classic, Playful, Serious, Loud, Quiet, Complex, Subtle, Luxe)
Who is your target audience? Please provide as much information about demographics (average age, gender & income level,
etc) and psychographic (interests, attitudes, values, and behaviors) as possible.
TONE & IMAGE
What tone and imagery do you want to convey? Do you have any special visual goals (i.e. smething funny, casual, or formal)?
Do you have specific brand colors? If not, what colors would you like to see in your logo? (Keep in mind, it is usually best to
stick to one or two colors)
