PRODUCT OWNER, GROWTH & ONBOARDING

01/2019 - 04/2020 (1 yr 4 mos)

Revolut, https://revolut.com/business
London, United Kingdom
For the 2019 year, Revolut Business has grown 4 times (and became the biggest player on the market) — our main target metric was
a number of new businesses per day (successfully onboarded and activated). Here is my role in this story:
Ownership of the Growth scope and scrum team, I have:
• Hired and established development team and processes (from scratch);
• Built analytics infrastructure for the website and automated reporting for its main metrics (including general growth and marketing metrics);
• Built A/B test framework with automated reporting on its main metrics, statistical significance check, detailed distributions, tracking of each CTA and a
whole funnel from a visit to deep conversion;
• Built new website from scratch (revolut.com/business) and increased conversion by 5% in A/B test vs. old one, defined its structure, established main
value proposition, messaging and positioning, designed and produced most of the content for that;
• Worked closely with Marketing and Business Development teams on infrastructure and operations; also led some marketing activities such as email
marketing, etc.
Ownership of the Onboarding scope and scrum team, I have:
• Researched and defined ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) — profile of the customer that is most valuable from the business perspective, so that as a
department we started to focus on it, and therefore, became aligned;
• Built scoring model (ML) which is prioritising customers queue based on their business value (based on ICP) so that account managers started to focus
only on important customers and we started to grow faster (+15% new businesses per day);
• Researched main UX problems of the registration/onboarding flow and fixed most of them in order to decrease drop-off and increase the velocity of the
onboarding process (velocity metric increased by 16%);
• Researched main tech and compliance process problems (back-office) and fixed it in order to increase the efficiency of the compliance team so that
they could faster process our customers and increase the number of new businesses per day.
