We are thrilled that 2015 marks our 10th Annual Savor Pittsburgh—the elite
culinary competition in Pittsburgh. Last year’s event boasted 25 of the finest
local restaurants and garnered media coverage in major print publications, all
local television networks and numerous social media outlets, totaling over
$150,000 worth of media exposure. We anticipate even more media coverage
this year, and hope to gain maximum exposure by encouraging all participating
restaurants to promote Savor 2015 throughout their own social media accounts.

This year’s culinary competition will take place at Stage AE located on the North
Shore of Pittsburgh.
Thursday, August 27th marks THE Culinary Competition. Prepare your
favorite appetizer, entrée, and/or dessert for 1,200+ guests and celebrity
judges at this trendy indoor and outdoor entertainment venue and compete for
many awards, including Dish of the Year.
Proceeds from the event will once again benefit Magee-Womens Research
Institute & Foundation’s fight to end premature births - the number
one killer of newborns. Each year, more than half a million babies are born
prematurely in the United States—that equates to about one per minute. Join
Magee and the Savor Pittsburgh committee in the fight against this devastating

Savor Pittsburgh will provide one skirted 8-foot table for presentation and one skirted 8-foot table for
food preparation for those entering 1 or 2 categories.
If you are entering all 3 categories, two tables will be provided for presentation and two tables will be
provided for preparation. Plastic cutlery and plates will be provided for serving the public. China plates
and silverware will be provided for serving the judges.
YOU are responsible for providing and preparing two (2) presentation plates for the judges in each category
you enter. These are for viewing purposes only and will NOT be tasted.
Clean water and ice will be available. A refrigerated truck will be on-site for storage of perishable items.
Please note that you MUST prepare 1,000 samples for the public and it must be the same food that
you submit for judging.
