Introduction and Purpose
KLIMATE is a GPS based weather application that records and stores important weather information for
up to 30 days. This guide aims to provide assistance in introducing the features of KLIMATE as well as
giving a basic overview on the functionality and to provide aid in fixing known bugs that can commonly
occur

Features
The features available to KLIMATE include a map to locate the desired location for weather recording
more accurately and with ease, and these locations can be saved under nicknames (e.g. “Work”, “Home”)
so revisiting the location is easier in the future. The weather information provided includes
Maximum/Minimum temperatures, wind speed, and humidity (%) and temperatures can be changed
between Celsius and Fahrenheit according to preference (Kelvin coming soon).

KLIMATE has been designed for use on PC, Android and iOS

should appear. Enter the appropriate
details to continue.
If an account is required, registration
can be found under “Forgot
Password?”

This is the main page of the app.
From here, saved routes can be
accessed (will be blank for first time use)
or new locations can be added

Add New Location

To access a previously saved location
just tap it on the menu

When adding a new location, there
are two functions

1. Locate the location on the map
manually

2. Search for landmarks, addresses or
co-ordinates in the search bar
Note: If the “Nickname” field is left
blank the app will set the co-ordinates
as the name of the location by default

degrees or delete all saved locations

Known Bugs or Limitation
Describe briefly any known bug or limitation with the app.
KLIMATE is an application still in development and as such as a few limitations and bugs that need to be
highlighted and explained. Firstly, the app only has the capability to record present data and display past
data. It cannot predict the future weather forecast. There are plans to add this functionality in a later
update. The options for the settings are also very limited more will be added in the future.
