The Lioness
(Rise of Judah)

Chapter I

The Noble King and His
Pride
Rudy the Lion Cub
Long before this story's end a Great and
noble lion cub named Rudy was born. He
was the most noble of all lion cubs, even of
those from times past. His heart was
strong like an ox, but gentle and open as a
doves wings. Rudy was more determined
to be the best than any lion cub that had
ever lived. He began to grow in
4
stature among the pride because of this,
and he soon took his place as the prides
leader.
A pride is a group of lions who work and
hunt together, care for one another, and
protect each other. A lions pride is a lot
like our human friends and family. Some
prides are larger than others, but the
structure is similar. There is always a
leader, or if you prefer ... a “King”.
The king is typically the strongest and
most respected of those in the pride. He's
the King after all. You don't get to be the
leader of a pride without earning great
respect.

Destined to be King
Rudy lost his father King Warren at an
early age. King Warren was a great and
powerful ruler, but Rudy was special.
There was something about Rudy that
stood apart from the rest. His heart was
fierce and his determination to be the best
was nothing less than inspiring. His
unmatched strength and the gentleness he
displayed towards those much weaker than
himself made Rudy the only lion in the
pride worthy of being crowned King after
King Warren left this world for the next.
Rudy the lion cub was destined to become
one of the greatest lion Kings that ever
lived.

Queen Nora
Rudy, after reaching adulthood met a
beautiful lioness named Nora. Her beauty
so striking Florida sunsets pale in
comparison. Nora was not only beautiful,
but she too was a most noble creature and
her heart just as big (if not bigger) than
Rudy's own. Rudy, being the gentle lion he
was, would court Nora on a daily basis. It
was love at first sight, but it warmed Nora's
heart to see Rudy's own heart in action.
Day after day Rudy would go to her with
flowers in hand until one day Nora could
take being apart from him no longer. She
grabbed his hand and whispered softly in
7
his ear, “I love you.”
That's all it took. On bended knee Rudy
bowed before her, took her hand and asked
her to be his Queen. They soon became
lion and lioness, joined in the most sacred
of unions. Nora was born to be Queen.
She earned her rank in the pride not
because of King Rudy, but because she
deserved it.
Lions and lioness' from many hundreds
of miles respected Nora for her noble heart
and beauty. She was the perfect bride for
Rudy and the perfect Queen for the pride.
The two most noblest of lions ever born
began their life together in the land of
8
Judah …. and so the adventure began.
The Cubs
(Princess Anne)
Princess Anne was the first of the
daughters to be born. Anne was a natural
born provider and her beauty rivaled
Queen Nora's own. Her coal black mane
and the bluest of eyes graced her
appearance. She was a perfect balance
between King Rudy and Queen Nora, both
in appearance and demeanor. Princess
Anne was deeply loved by the King and
Queen. Both of whom would have been
incomplete without her.
