§ 02 The facts 05 entries

What it takes, what it gives back

  • You upload2 to 20 PDF files, up to 100 MB in total
  • The orderThe one you set on screen. It is what decides the order of the pages
  • You get backOne PDF holding every page, in that order
  • What is not doneNo page selection: each file goes in whole
  • RetentionNone. The files you send and the file produced are erased once the job is done
§ 03 How it works 03 steps

Three steps, nothing to install

Step 1

Upload your files

Two files at least, twenty at most, up to 100 MB in total.

Step 2

Set the order

The order on screen is the order of the pages in the result.

Step 3

Download the merged PDF

Your files are deleted once the job is done.

§ 04 When to use it 03 cases

Three situations it was made for

Case 01

A contract signed page by page

Signature pages often come back one at a time. Merging turns them back into the single document they were meant to be.

Case 02

A set of invoices to send at once

One attachment instead of twelve. Easier to send, and easier for whoever receives it.

Case 03

A document scanned in batches

A sheet feeder that jams leaves you with three files. Merging puts the document back together.

§ 05 Worth knowing 03 notes

What the tool actually does

The order on screen is the order in the file

Nothing is sorted for you. The sequence you set before starting is the sequence of the pages you get back, which is why it is worth checking before you upload rather than after.

Each file goes in whole

Merging does not let you keep only some pages. If you need a subset, split the document first, then merge the pages you want. Two steps, and neither of them asks you to install anything.

A protected file blocks the merge

A PDF locked with a password cannot be joined to the others while it is locked. Take the protection off first with the password removal tool, using the password you already hold.

§ 06 Common questions 08 questions

Before you upload anything

How many files can I merge?

Between 2 and 20, up to 100 MB in total.

Can I choose the order?

Yes, and it is the order shown on screen before you start that decides the order of the pages.

Can I keep only some pages?

Not from this tool. Split the document first, then merge the pages you want to keep.

Is the quality preserved?

Yes. The pages are copied as they are, without being re-encoded or compressed.

Is the tool free?

Yes. Merging is free, with no sign-up and nothing to install.

Are my files kept?

No. The files you send and the merged file are deleted automatically once the job is done.

Where are my files processed?

On servers in France. Your data stays in the European Union, under the GDPR.

Do I need an account?

No. An account is what lets you keep, find and share your documents afterwards.
