What the tool actually does
This code is fixed for good
It encodes what you typed, drawn into the pages. If the address changes after the document is printed, every printed copy points to the wrong place and there is nothing to do about it. That is the difference with a permanent QR code, which points at an address you keep control of.
Short address, simpler code
The more characters a QR code carries, the denser its pattern, and the closer a phone has to be. A short address gives a code that scans from further away and survives a rough print. Two hundred characters of query string give one that fails on paper.
Scan it before you print a thousand
Check the result with a real phone, at the size it will actually be printed, on the paper it will be printed on. A code that scans perfectly on screen at 200 percent can fail at 15 millimetres on matte paper. Validating the shape is not validating the print.

Can I change where it points afterwards?
No. This code is fixed once it is drawn. A permanent QR code, from an account, is the one whose destination stays editable.
What can it encode?
A web address, or any short text, up to 300 characters.
Which size should I pick?
Medium unless the page will be read from a distance. Small needs a steady hand up close.
Will it cover something up?
It is drawn in the corner you pick, over whatever is there. Look at your document first.
Can I put it on every page?
